Josh Carson

EVP, General Counsel

Josh oversees all corporate compliance efforts, contracts and transactions, and any other legal matters involving the company. Since joining the Rausch family in 2018, Josh has been instrumental in navigating legal proceedings and negotiations for significant transactions, such as Lennar’s recent acquisition of Rausch Coleman Homes. Josh is also the co-founder of EnergyWorks, an oil and gas exploration company founded in 2008.

An honors graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law, Josh is a current member of the Washington County and Arkansas State Bar Association. He has been widely recognized for his career in real estate law and his passion for serving his community. In 2010, Josh was named to the Tulsa Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list, celebrated for his innovative work with EnergyWorks. In 2024, he was hand-selected by the Mayor to serve on the City of Fayetteville’s Housing Crisis Task Force, a selected group of local leaders and experts working to solve the growing demand for housing in Fayetteville.

Prior to this role, Josh was a partner in a private practice firm in Fort Smith, Arkansas where he provided real estate and construction banking counsel for local, national, and international clients.

Josh lives in Fayetteville with his wife and their two daughters. He’s an active member of his local church and enjoys tennis in his free time.
